The MaxiiCopper Vi2400A series is a device that extends the PoE (+) transmission distance using a coaxial cable. A wide operating temperature of -40 to + 75 ° C has been achieved in a compact housing.

Ethernet transmission is possible with a 5C-2V coaxial cable, and PoE pass-through extends up to 900m. Furthermore, it is possible to supply power to the PoE terminal connected to the slave unit.

By connecting the AC adapter to the main unit, it can also be used as a LAN extension device for data transmission only. (LAN extension: up to 1500m).

This product enables highly reliable communication by transmitting LAN data as a digital signal with a signal recovery function, so it is more resistant to noise than conventional DSL and PLC analog signals modulation, plus it also has a reliable transmission speed※.
*(Connect at either 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps depending on the installation environment)

Furthermore, the transmission delay is as low at 1 ms or less, making it ideal for video and audio transmission that requires real-time performance.

*Vi2400A is fixed to Master setting. Also, it cannot be used between Vi2400A. Use Vi2401A, 2404A, 2408A, 2416A for the opposite device.
*Do not ground the outer conductor of the coaxial cable used. Also, do not allow it to come into contact with other conductors. The current may loop and cause malfunction.
*When using a PoE extension device (MaxiiCopper series), it may require higher power than the PD’s required power due to the power of the PoE extension device itself and cable loss. Vi00026 is a device that solves the compatibility problem between POE power supply equipment and power receiving equipment.

To prevent breakdowns due to lightning strikes

Lightning surges are a natural disaster and will be repaired with a fee.
If there is a possibility of a lightning surge, we recommend installing a surge protector (SPD) and connecting a ground to protect it from the viewpoint of fault tolerance.
